In line with its strategic objective to promote the development of an innovative, inclusive and sustainable financial system, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) has published its draft strategy for promoting transformation in the South African financial sector (draft transformation strategy).
The draft transformation strategy aims to:
outline the FSCA’s approach to promoting financial sector transformation within the existing policy framework; and
outline an approach for the FSCA to promote transformation under the Conduct of Financial Institutions (COFI) Bill.
Interested parties are invited to comment on the draft transformation strategy by no later than 29 April 2022, by using the available comments template and sending it to fsca.policy@fsca.co.za.
